Everything here is free and needs no booking. Road safety does not work if it is only available to people who can pay for a course.

Habits worth building

Four things that cost nothing and change the odds more than anything else you can do behind the wheel.

01

Leave a three-second gap

Pick a fixed point ahead. When the car in front passes it, count three seconds before you do. Double it in rain. This single habit removes most rear-end collisions.

02

Look where you want to go

In a skid, your hands follow your eyes. Look at the escape route, not the obstacle. This is the hardest instinct to train and the most valuable.

03

Scan twelve seconds ahead

Not the bumper in front. Look far enough down the road that you are responding to problems before they reach you.

04

Phone in the glovebox

Not face down, not on silent. Out of reach. Two seconds looking away at 100 km/h is fifty-five metres travelled blind.

Stopping distance

Stopping distance

The interactive tool on our homepage shows how far a car travels before it stops, at any speed, wet or dry. It is the clearest way to understand why speed limits are what they are.

Lebanese road rules

Lebanese road rules

A plain-language summary of the rules that matter most for everyday driving in Lebanon, with the current penalties.

This section is awaiting content from the foundation. Road rules and penalties change, and publishing anything unverified would be worse than publishing nothing.
